這首歌的詞對我來說真的太有趣了
找個時間好好玩味推敲一翻

　　我在窈窕老爸(Transamerica)中聽到了這首歌,場景是那位主角在經歷過一連串的風波,橫跨美國東西部,找出他人生中曾經不堪回首的"牽掛",而後,帶著失落複雜的心情,走進醫院,進入手術室中準備實施變性手術所安插的歌曲。




　　這首Like a Rose,收錄在美國民謠歌手Lucinda Williams 1988同名專輯中。如果有開喇叭的話,聽到的就是這首歌。淡淡的,孤寂的,卻又帶點些許振奮的氣味,就像鼓勵著你,即使難過、失落,最後還是要收起淚水,向前。就像歌詞說的一樣: Let it go.

在這張專輯中,一樣的聲音,歌頌著不一樣的世界,當我聽到"Breathe"

原來我們聽到的啷噹六便士,民謠搖滾原來只是他的其中之一
其實他們起家於基督福音音樂,而對這塊也有不遺餘力的努力

雖然本身不是個基督徒,空靈的旋律以及主唱Leigh Nash充滿穿透力以及甜美的嗓音,讓我也忍不住愛上了這首歌的氛圍;
如詩畫一般的歌詞,腦海中也描繪出了那所謂的天堂。

於是我又心血來潮把歌詞翻譯分享囉
可惜的是關於這首歌的資訊真的不多,只能靠手動youtube來分享這首歌

很多年前在電視上偶然聽到這首歌
懵懂無知的自己,看著那歌詞裡不出頭緒

經過了這些年,回頭再聽這首歌
有點意猶未盡但卻又難以表達的矛盾

或許,有些事真的長大後才明瞭
縱使說不出個所以然,但是真的明白..

逃避..只是欺騙自己猶豫躊躇的藉口。

原來就是之前電視某日本妝品廣告耳熟能詳的一首歌,

今天在朋友偶然的推薦下聽到,很喜歡這首歌帶出的氛圍。

這個團有兩個人,女主唱擔綱作詞,另一位男生則是負責吉他及編曲,
女主唱YUKA 特別的那種甜甜唱腔,但又不過於矯揉造作是這讓這首歌加分的一大主因。

好幾句段句間的連結或獨立著實讓我攪腦了一下
無法克制自己把時間花在音樂及歌詞這些事上。

總算不是murmur文
終於決心來篇沉澱的樂文

這次想推薦的是瘋迷九零年代中後期的一支美國樂團-MatchBox 20 (以下簡稱MB20)
收錄在他們一九九六年第一張專輯"Yourself Or Someone Like You" "志同道合"
而同時也被MB20最後一張"Exile on Mainstream" "超越自我"新歌加精選專輯收錄其中



雖然說這首Push是MB20於1996年大紅大紫的金曲
不過自己真正接觸他們的音樂也是因為他們另一首暢銷單曲Unwell後才開始聽他們的歌

當時聽到這首PUSH就莫名的愛上了,加上MV整體張力很足
在這麼多音樂海中 , 這首歌真的讓我產生極大的共鳴

如果說是因為歌詞傳達的意義,或許吧
如果說是因為歌曲本身的靈魂,我想是的

每個人都有著幾首代表自己的歌曲
PUSH,喚起我自己 , 反省自我 , 反覆翻攪著脆弱
雖然總會讓自己低盪 , 但終究無法自拔

這首歌的歌詞在當時著時掀起一陣批判聲浪 ,
其中反應最激烈也最極端的 , 就是女性主義團體了

不為什麼 , 當MB20主唱Thomas在眾人面前唱著
"I wanna push you around , well I will ..."
難免會產生錯誤解讀的誤會

當時那些控訴Thomas這首歌詞的人們認為：
「 It encouraged violence toward woman.」

不過樂團則回應這些輿論說
It was about emotional, rather than physical confrontation,
and dealt with female on male mental harm, not the other way around.
(所謂的push是關於在精神上的而不是身體上的衝突,
這是關於對於女性對男性情感上的傷害 , 而非相反的男性加害女性 )

我很能體會這首歌之所以為push的原因,我想這就是共鳴

換了首LADY GAGA未收錄於正式專輯的"Fashion"

個人覺得這首沒收錄於正式專輯裡面有點可惜
但不在於他歌曲或歌詞的深度或是難度
而是說這首歌完全是GAGA個人最佳寫照
歌詞夾雜幾句法語,整個感覺也時尚了起來

雖然時尚對我來說根本沾不上邊
RAP裡的名牌頂多也只聽過幾個

很喜歡這首的節奏感與曲調

換了首輕快搖擺的小紅莓。

一聽到這個特別得唱腔,想也不用想就知道一定是小紅莓的主唱了
之前店裡打烊時剛好分配到收外場的工作,也因為這樣,就聽到了這首歌

說起來也很瞎,其實這張專輯這首歌早已在我WMP裡的媒體櫃躺了不知道多久
可能是因為隨機撥放都沒有放到這首吧,MP3發達以後,我已經很少順著整張專輯的歌曲認真聆賞了

說起來還真有點可惜,讓我有種"科技始於人心,但也扼殺人心"的感覺

這首歌給我一直是很輕快愉悅的感覺
簡單的歌詞就是在告訴自己:已經事過境遷了,過去的就只是幻覺罷了

因為也算是十年前的歌了,MV手法也簡單明白,動畫的表達稍嫌粗糙不過我認為那是個刻意吧 營造幻覺的想像
MV中繽紛的色彩,讓我覺得這一定是一首激勵人心的輕快歌曲

不過後來稍微認真體會一下歌詞,或許好像又有另一層不一樣的表達方式
個人認為,取絕於聆聽者當下是什麼心情與經歷吧

開心的聽,輕快的讓人哼著歌唱,就當幻覺一樣如夢如畫

沉著的聽,雖然過去的已成幻覺,但從"just my"轉變成結尾的"not my"以及結尾重複著那句"not my.."
好像有點自欺欺人的味道,雖已表露"只是幻覺",但後來又反爾成"不是我的",稍嫌矛盾,但也因為這樣,
讓這首看似樂逍遙的歌曲,帶點一股淡淡的哀愁,不過也讓整首歌層次鮮明,不只是首玩票性質的歌曲。

也或許只是我太吹毛求疵,哈哈

最近介紹好歌的頻率次數也太頻繁。


Vanilla Twilight越聽越動人，比起The Technicolor Phase的輕快活潑，我更喜歡這首給人溫暖的感覺

怎麼說，或許歌詞上的touch更能解釋我喜歡這首的原因。

編曲上不像一般的主歌、副歌、橋段的配置，雖然不會給人深刻的印象，但也不至於相似的旋律而頭重腳輕。


維基一下找到這首歌其實是在述說Young高中時期和女朋友相處的回憶，不過後來她搬走了，兩人也頓失連絡好一陣子，

歌詞就在反映當時Young的內心。

Owl City 在台灣其實蠻冷門的更別說有什麼中文翻譯了

很喜歡Vanilla Twilight的歌詞所以決定挑戰一下把他翻成中文

雖然我已經盡量不照字面翻了，不過還是有種習慣直接用字面看英文的意思

繁體字雖然複雜難學，不過論文字表達的美感的話，中文絕對大贏英文! (個人覺得


前前後後不乏用了一字典查那些高中常看到的單字回憶複習一下

總之，翻譯真是一門大學問啊，光是歌詞就這麼不好翻

前幾天看奇摩電影預告片的時候看到迪士尼即將推出的新片Alice In Wonderland(魔鏡夢遊)
還蠻吸引人的，剛好就找到他的原聲帶Almost Alice，未看先聽，
整張給我感覺非常之有水準，讓我很想掏錢去看看這部新片。　

雖然說主打的是Avril Lavigne為這部片量身打造的一首新歌"Alice"，
不過，如果你有開喇叭的話，我要介紹的正是傳入你耳邊的這首清新旋律。

先來介紹Owl City這個樂團吧。(轉載自網路)








來自美國明尼蘇達州奧瓦通納（Owatonna, Minnesota ）的大學二年級生Adam Young，
於去年組建了Owl City樂隊。他是這支流行電子樂隊的唯一成員，負責主音、合成器和編曲等工作。
隨之獨立發行的首張EP《Of June》，在2007年的夏天，為電音界吹來一股涼爽的清風。

Owl City也自我承認，他的聲音就像少女傾訴心事一樣溫文細氣，但對旋律節奏的掌握卻十分到位。
專輯以歡快的電子旋律征服了不少聽眾，像寶石般閃爍明亮。
而首張專輯 Maybe I'm Dreaming 在演繹方面 Owl City 顯然更加投入，
從精致的和聲到深情的合唱，Owl City 的個人魅力也越加凸現。
甜蜜的聲線清新的電子音樂，這貌似簡單的配搭卻被 Owl City 演繹得絢麗多彩。

而這首歌The Technicolor Phase，前奏動感的節拍加上一點電子旋律開場，頓時讓人產生一種身在夢幻世界的感覺。

這樣的感覺不僅沒有那種初次踏入異域陌生感，反而是清新暢快的舒適感。

主歌Young柔和的嗓音搭上跳動的電子旋律與歌詞，讓我一瞬進入他的世界裡，聽他訴說著什麼；

到了副歌，短短的幾句卻充滿張力，讓主歌那有點令人不解的地方，給予完美的解答。

兩段主副歌加上兩次高昂的電子獨奏，回音漂蕩般的wherever you are做結尾，讓人意猶未盡。

每次發音樂文感覺都沒什麼人會看(哭

昨天把網誌音樂換成這首 Howie Day - Collide
還專程想發個文寫個心得還真難得

會聽見這首歌時蠻意外的
幾天前逛到嘎蠻萬年不新增網誌聽到背景音樂是這首
當下馬上耳朵豎高高touch到

然後叫蠻蠻傳給我他還傳錯首
其實是他以為他放的是另外一首歌

美麗的意外哈


歌名Collide我本來以為他是碰撞的意思
所以很自動的把它解讀成"一見鍾情後的小鹿亂撞"之類的

後來跟小夫聊了一下再看一次歌詞才發現 "原來是在表達分手後的懷念"
果然是達人

所以其實Collide在這裡應該是表達他的另一個意思"Crush(著迷)"的意思
而非碰撞"crash(衝突)"之意

歌詞內容還蠻好懂,本來想自己翻翻看
不過就在看到一位陌生人的翻譯後作罷
她真的翻的好棒

歌詞真的有touch到,尤其被她翻譯詮釋過後


我放的是他的Acoustic Version,原曲的話還有提琴合奏聽起來會更有層次
這個版本雖然只有一把吉他跟人聲,反而我會覺得這是很好的學習對象

畢竟自己在彈唱的時候也沒有其他元素來加持
靠的就是情緒上的演譯囉
